Fragrant white flowers appear from April to May, followed by sweet, smooth, small to medium-sized pears. The fruit is perfect for fresh eating, baking, or canning and is ready to harvest from late summer to early fall. This cultivar is partially self-fertile but will produce a larger crop when planted near another pear tree for cross-pollination.

For best results, plant in full sun in average, evenly moist, well-drained soil. While it prefers consistent moisture, it will not tolerate standing water. Tolerant of urban pollution, this plant performs well even in city landscapes.
