Amur maackia is a small, deciduous tree with a broad, rounded habit and coppery-bronze exfoliating bark. Fragrant, pea-like white flowers bloom on upright spikes in late spring, followed by flat seed pods. Dark olive green, compound foliage adds summer interest.
