'Rosalie Figge' is a reblooming dark purple-violet flower with a white freckled throat, the edges are lightly ruffled and the entire flower sweetly scented. You will enjoy these beauties all season long with the main bloom in May as most bearded iris do but 'Rosalie Figge' will rebloom all the way into October. Well branched this is a keeper for the Iris collector or mixed into the perennial garden and looks especially fabulous planted in groups. Plant in full sun to partial shade in moist well-drained soil.
Rhizomes should be planted at the soil level. Remove dead foliage in the fall. Prefers full sun and well-drained soils. Divide rhizomes in July. Prefers moist, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade.
