Growing & Maintenance Tips for Dahlia ''Myrtles Folly''

Plant in a sunny, well-drained garden bed or container. Dahlia tubers are sensitive to frost but they can be grown for more than one year if the tubers are removed from the ground before they freeze. Dig tubers before the ground freezes, typically after the first hard frost. Rinse off dirt and let dry completely, they will need good air circulation and be free of soil, store loosely in a paper bag or plastic crate in a dark cool area that does not freeze. The tubers can be planted again the spring after the last frost.
