I live with my two cats in a small town near Prides. Even though I work outside for much of my day at Prides when I clock off, (if there is still some daylight), you can usually find me outside, gardening, hiking or biking, some of my favorite hobbies.

I am blessed in having a fantastic crew to work with here at Prides. We truly make a great team. I like roving the farm and seeing the different stages plants are in, what’s new and different and what is ready for a new home. Lastly, I get to meet and know a great array of fascinating people, some of whom I am lucky to call my customers and, if I am fortunate enough, to call my friends!

My Favorite Plant:

My favorite plant changes seasonally and sometimes weekly! I would have to admit to having a preference for plants that can handle some shade as those are the conditions that I deal with at home. I honestly cannot just pick one plant out. Some of my favorites are Fothergilla, Vaccinium, Echinacea, Roses (I struggle with these at home but I still try!), Buddleia and Stewartia. Almost anything that has a long period of Interest.
