Chapman's Favorite PlantWith its ancient history and its status as a living fossil, the title of my favorite plant has to go to the Maidenhair tree (Ginkgo biloba). With tons of different varieties, you can use a ginkgo in almost any spot in your garden. Their unique leaves, golden fall color, and corky bark all add to their charm.
