Semi-dwarf. This Japanese variety is a vigorous, fast growing plant that produces large crops of beefy, round fruit with thin, purple-red skin. This tart, sweet fruit ripens in mid-August and is excellent for fresh eating and canning.

Keep moist until established then water regularly as needed. Plant in full sun for best fruit production and to prevent disease. Prune in late winter after extreme cold. Plant with another Japanese plum variety for cross-pollination.
