You may find yourself saying "WOW" when you see it bloom. Froggie™ Hydrangea is an exciting blend of new colors to the hydrangea selections. Opening flowers start out a fresh green color and slowly add in mottled splashes of bright blue or pink depending on the pH of the soil. Compact form and hearty stems hold up the huge flowers all season and create a colorful mound in the landscape. Cooler fall temps bring a nice red fall color to the foliage as the season comes to an end.

Growing & Maintenance Tips for Hydrangea mac. Froggie™

Plant in moist, well-drained soils. Plants need sunlight to flower, the hotter the climate the more shade will be needed to reduce the midday wilt that is common with bigleaf hydrangeas. Morning sun and afternoon shade are best. For optimal flowering prune back damaged branches in the spring after the shoots have started to sprout when it is clear where the new growth is emerging.
