Bright yellow, burn resistant foliage graces strongly upright stems that reach majestically into the sky giving this plant full opportunity to lord its brilliant color over your landscape. Sunjoy Gold Pillar™ is a neat plant both in it tight compact, upright form and the oversized color it can bring to narrow, small garden spaces. It is very similar in form to its red relative, 'Helmond's Pillar' but far more vigorous and certainly not for the faint of heart colorwise! Use this selection in full sun and in well-drained soil...it is very adaptable to most exposures and soils but its brilliant color is best where it gets as much sun as possible. By the way, the best color on this well behaved plant might be in fall when bright yellow gives way to orange-red hues that will thrill you even more! Alone or grouped to form a formal border or mini-hedge, Sunjoy Gold Pillar™ will always give your landscape its money's worth!
