Just when garden color is winding down in the late summer, 'Hot Lips' puts in an appearance and helps make the landscape beautiful again with big, tight spikes of rose-pink flowers rising above deep, dark green foliage. Late August through September bloom and its preference for moist soils will make this plant a hit around the water garden too!
Pinch in spring for a bushy plant. Upright grower, may need stalking in shade. Prefers rich, moist to wet soil in full sun to part shade.
