'Heritage' is a fast-growing tree with layers of brown bark peeling back to reveal white inner bark. Chickadees, sparrows, wild turkey, pine siskins, finches and other birds love the seed. Glossy, light green leaves turn yellow in fall and distinctive bark that starts off reddish-pink and fades through cinnamon to a creamy tan-white with age, and which peels in thickly curled strips. Ideal specimen.
