This selection is magical with its incredible bi-color bloom, its long flowering season and its compact, fit anywhere form. Deep green, narrow foliage forms a tight, yet fine textured mound that covers itself with buds in late spring. These buds begin to open in late June and soon the plant is covered with big, single red flowers with brilliant yellow-orange edges. This unique bloom continues to brilliantly fill the garden throughout the summer months and creates a soaring wave of color when massed.

Thrives in a sunny location. Fertilize yearly with an organic fertilizer. In late fall or winter, cut back to within a couple of inches of ground level and clean up dead stems from the garden.
